Welcoming Thai Scholars to Share AI for Social Good Practices

今日（4/28）接待來自泰國 Mahamakut Buddhist University ISAN Campus 的學者代表團蒞臨中正大學AI中心交流。

此次來訪學者包括 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phramaha Supachai Supakijjo、Dr. Phramaha Sombat Taweekoon，以及 Assist. Prof. Dr. Sitthiporn Khetjoi。

🤝 在 AI 中心主任暨工學院院長熊博安教授的接待與介紹下，來訪學者了解了中心近年在智慧城市、遠洋漁業、醫療健康等領域的應用成果，也看見中正大學如何將 AI 技術導入實際場域，回應社會福祉、公共治理與永續發展的需求。

💡 交流過程中，來訪學者對於 AI for Social Good 的應用深感讚嘆，並表示這些跨領域實踐帶給他們很大的啟發。

這次交流不只是技術展示，也促進雙方對未來跨領域合作與對話的更多想像。

🌏 We welcomed a delegation of scholars from Mahamakut Buddhist University ISAN Campus, Thailand, to the AI Center at National Chung Cheng University today, April 28, for an international exchange. The visiting scholars included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phramaha Supachai Supakijjo, Dr. Phramaha Sombat Taweekoon, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Sitthiporn Khetjoi.

🤝 Hosted by Prof. Pao-Ann Hsiung, Director of the AI Research Center and Dean of the College of Engineering, the delegation learned about our recent work in smart cities, fisheries, healthcare, and other applications advancing AI for Social Good.

💡 The visiting scholars were deeply impressed by these AI applications for Social Good and shared that the visit was highly inspiring.

This exchange was not only a demonstration of technology, but also helped promote future cross-disciplinary collaboration and dialogue between both sides.
